We are pleased to announce that the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) has launched a newly designed website. Known as the largest local real estate association in Connecticut, GHAR serves more than 4,800 members in the Greater Hartford and Litchfield counties. This association’s mission is to provide its members with ongoing education and certification programs, technology, training, business support, and networking opportunities.
This new website software supports GHAR’s mission and also give staff members the opportunity to:
- Customize homepage content
- Easily manage and update the menu navigation
- Create unlimited forms and dynamic web pages
- Share blog and news articles
- Upload images, PDFs, and files across the site
- Update staff and board directories
- And so much more!
We wanted to highlight some key features of this new website and share some design and functionality inspiration in case you’re looking to upgrade your real estate association’s site.
Table of Contents:
Design
- This website is built with a component-based design that is easily customizable for GHAR’s team to update or make changes at any time.
- On the homepage is a hero image slideshow with various pictures of the area and different calls-to-action on each slide.
- Directly below the hero images is a grid with branded colored boxes and quick links for current or potential members to access.
- The market statistic counter on the homepage can easily be updated each month with new information, and GHAR has the ability to add a background image to this component of the site.
- Another interesting design aspect on this site is the scrolling sponsor carousel which is mounted to the footer of every web page. This is a great advertising tool for sponsors.
- GHAR also has an ADA widget on its website, which is a very important compliance and standard feature to add to your real estate association website.
Navigation
- This site is designed with a utility, main, and footer navigation menu.
- The utility menu at the very top of the page gives members fast access to the web pages listed.
- Another very important functionality in the utility menu is the search bar, which helps visitors navigate through content on the site to find the exact information they are searching for.
- When you scroll down the homepage, you will see that the main navigation follows. This navigation functionality is called a sticky menu since it sticks to the page.
- The footer menu contains contact information, social media links, quick links, and also the latest legal news update shared by GHAR.
Featured Web Pages
- The information carousel on the Get Your License web page takes members through an engaging 8-step learning process. The carousel is displayed in order for members to follow.
- Designed using 立博客户端app下载 Freedom’s Blog Module, GHAR is able to display all of its latest News in a list view while also giving members access to archived updates. Users also have the ability to search by filter or tags.
- One way to display a lot of content in a visually appealing way is through dropdown drawers on the Ethics & Arbitration web page.
- The Photo Albums page is a fun way to share moments from events with members and potential constituents.
To create an even more customer-centric and streamlined user experience, this site is integrated with RAMCO. This members-only portal dynamically pulls in member data with this integration. Best of all, the Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® manages their site with 立博客户端app下载 Freedom, our all-in-one website and membership management software.
GHAR can manage its website content, update news and events, easily create new pages, and more, all in one place.
